33 Bloor Heating Plant Replacement
Purpose Building partnered with Kolostat (a mechanical design-builder) to help Epic identify and evaluate low-carbon options to replace the existing gas heating boilers at 33 Bloor. After the building owners chose the heat-recovery chiller option, Purpose acted as Owner's Representative through the Design and Construction phases to facilitate this project meeting their carbon reduction goals (while Kolostat implemented the project).

55 University Cooling Replacement
Purpose Building was engaged as BGO's Vision Steward for the design phase of a ~$4M heat recovery chiller retrofit project at 55 University Avenue. The project represented BGO's first step in implementing the pathway we recommended in a Zero Carbon Transition Plan for the property. As Vision Steward, Purpose led the design team, provided strategic direction to other consultants, ensured BGO's project Vision was upheld through design and prepared the team for construction.
