Mike Anderson joins the Purpose Building team as a Team Principal

Purpose Building is excited to welcome Mike Anderson to the team. Mike was a mechanical principal in a multi-disciplinary firm, where he worked since graduating in Mechanical engineering in 2007. Throughout his career he has led the delivery of mechanical design solutions for new and existing  commercial and multi-residential buildings, as well as energy simulations and sustainability assessments. Mike was attracted by the opportunity to focus his career on accelerating real estate to planet positive performance. He will apply his experience and expertise to help teams integrate sustainability strategies seamlessly into portfolio planning and the overall design process and to make deep retrofits both constructable and financially attractive. He lives with his young family in Toronto, built an off-grid straw bale house with his dad and loves to spend time in the woods
